Benelli's Super Black Eagle 3 in GORE OPTIFADE Marsh is an inertia-driven 12-gauge autoloader with a 3 1/2-inch chamber, a 28-inch barrel and a 3+1 magazine. It weighs 7 pounds, runs 49.6 inches end to end with a pull length of 14 3/8 inches, and carries a plain bead up front. Crio choke tubes come in the box, the Comfort Tech 3 stock takes some of the sting out of heavy loads, and the inertia system keeps powder fouling away from the working parts.

In Massachusetts the two-week shotgun deer season after Thanksgiving falls around November 30 to December 12 in 2026, and a 12 gauge sits well inside the 10-gauge ceiling for legal deer guns. Rifles are off the table for deer anywhere in the Commonwealth, so a soft-shooting autoloader that handles everything from light field loads to 3 1/2-inch magnums earns its place in a one-gun cabinet. Sunday hunting remains closed, so check the current MassWildlife regulations before the opener.
