A Replica Arms Inc. reproduction of the 1847 Walker, serial 1446, made in 1982. It is a black-powder-only single-action revolver in .44 caliber with a 9-inch barrel, a six-shot cylinder with roll engraving, a blued barrel, a color case-hardened frame and loading lever, a blade front sight and wood grips. The bore is excellent, the finish shows light handling marks throughout and overall condition is very good.
A 9-inch barrel makes this a long revolver, better suited to the loading bench and the range than to a holster, and the engraved cylinder and case colors give it the look of the original pattern. It is listed in the handgun category, so for a Massachusetts transfer plan on the same License to Carry process as a cartridge gun: the dealer sees the license in person, runs the federal check and records the transfer on the state gun portal, with no separate purchase permit required.
