This is a pre-owned SIG Sauer P238 in .380 Auto, a modern-production pistol with a 2.7-inch barrel, an alloy frame and single-action-only lockwork. It wears night sights and aluminum grips. The seller rates the bore as very good and the overall condition as excellent, and the gun is identified by serial number 27B109304.

The P238 is a small carry-size pistol, and in Massachusetts a handgun purchase runs on a License to Carry issued by the police chief in your city or town; that LTC is the license covering handguns and the one most buyers already hold. There is no state waiting period and no separate purchase permit, but the dealer checks the license in person, runs the federal background check and records the transfer through the state gun portal before release. The single-action trigger and night sights point this pistol at someone who wants a very small gun that still sights well after dark.
