The Diamondback DB15 Version 2 is an AR-pattern semi-automatic rifle that takes both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington, finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote against black furniture. The 16-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28, the flat-top upper carries a Picatinny rail with no optic fitted, and the stock is a six-position adjustable synthetic unit. It weighs 6.65 pounds, measures 32.75 inches, uses a Mil-Spec trigger and a manual safety, and comes with one 30-round magazine for a listed 30+1 capacity.

In Massachusetts this is a range and training rifle, not a hunting rifle: rifles and handguns may not be used for deer anywhere in the Commonwealth, where the gun seasons belong to shotguns and muzzleloaders. That leaves the DB15 for club shooting, carbine courses and informal targets, which is where the light weight, adjustable stock and optic-ready rail pay off. Pick a scope or dot for the top rail, settle on one stock position, and the 16-inch barrel keeps the whole package handy indoors or on a short bay.
