Mossberg's 702 Plinkster is a modern semi-automatic rimfire rifle, and this used example, serial EHA316115, is set up plainly: an 18-inch round barrel, iron sights, a synthetic stock and a detachable magazine. The supplier grades overall condition near excellent, and the original factory box comes with it.

An 18-inch rimfire with irons is a short, light rifle for the range, for plinking and for teaching a new shooter the basics. It has no deer role in Massachusetts, where rifles are not allowed for deer anywhere in the Commonwealth. Note that it is semi-automatic, which places it outside what a Firearms Identification card covers; bring a License to Carry when you collect it. The detachable magazine makes loading at the bench straightforward, and the synthetic stock needs no special care.
